The night before before the 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins, an awesome giant Balloon Inflation event happens at 79th & Columbus Ave. I have fond memories of staying up late and watching this grand spectacle unfold in the middle of the street with hot cider, a pretzel and a few die-hard buddies. Now thousands of people come out to see view this event as you can see in the photos below.
